Château de La Cômbe
Wines have been made in the Côte de Provence region since Roman times. We are a family-owned, boutique vineyard producing a small quantity of premium organic wines. Our hand harvested vines reflect the classic terroir and climate of the beautiful region.

The Terroir
Château de La Cômbe stands on the Ancient Roman road, the Via Aurelia, connecting Frejus and Vidauban, and has been producing wines for centuries. In 2009, the Château was lovingly restored and the vines were replanted, providing our first harvest in 2013. Since then, our wines have received numerous prestigious awards and are enjoyed by a privileged few.
Château de La Cômbe is situated on the eastern boundary of the village of Le Muy, nestled between the massif of la Colle du Rouet and the red cliffs of the Rocher de Roquebrune. We enjoy a unique microclimate created by our location, where the Mistral winds and the Mediterranean warmth are ideal for growing. Our vines are planted on perfectly selected 6 hectares of the estate, while the rest of the 254 hectares are forest and olive groves.
The natural terroir, combined with our traditional, organic certified farming methods of regular ploughing without the use of weed killers, insecticides or synthetic chemical products and manual harvesting, provide us with perfect grapes for our wines.

Over the years, Château de La Cômbe wines have won several medals and honoring awards.
Premium Quality Wine Making
At Château de La Cômbe, we hand harvest and sort our organic grapes, allowing natural fermentation to take place. We then use our state-of-the-art vinification cave, which is equipped with temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks along with the latest destemming and pressing equipment. Our wines are then aged in our historic, vaulted cellar in 228 liter French Allier barrels.
This process means that we produce small volumes of high quality wine, which we are very proud of. Every year our wines produce slightly different characteristics, born through the unique weather patterns of the growing season.
