Family-owned, the Montemaggio Estate is located in Radda in Chianti in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Italy. They produce handmade, 100% organic wines that include Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, Chianti Gran Selezione and their Super Tuscan wines Torre and Quinta. The name Montemaggio stems from “Monte Maggiore” (Big Mountain), which refers to its elevated position.
Montemaggio’s mission is quite simple: to deliver high-quality wines that are genuinely connected to the land where they are produced. Montemaggio concentrates on small-batch production in order to nurture every one of their vines and every bottle of wine that they produce. Their wines are certified organic and 100% handcrafted.
